Developed and patented by Tysweld, an innovative welding wire production technology
The QBA_innovation® technology introduces an entirely new quality in the production of welding wire. Tysweld PRO wires, produced using this innovation, enable our clients to achieve exceptional weld strength parameters, ensure low levels of contamination, including inclusions and silicates, and minimize spatter, thus shortening the process by reducing the time required for cleaning the welds.
Tysweld PRO wires are also distinguished by their perfect geometry, which ensures smooth and even wire feeding, thereby guaranteeing a stable arc even at high welding currents. The use of Tysweld PRO wires also helps reduce overall welding costs by shortening the process, as mentioned earlier, and by lowering the wear on current tips and extending the intervals between scheduled and unscheduled equipment servicing.



Firstly
Warehouse
and unwinding of wire rod
Wire production in our plant begins in the warehouse where we store the wire in closed rooms, not exposing the wire rod to changing weather conditions and corrosion.
We take care not to damage the surface of the wire rod. Loading onto the racks is done using a specially designed conveyor with anti-cut protection, and unwinding has an anti-tangling protection system. At this stage, the process of cleaning the wire rod from metallurgical residues also begins.

Cleaning of wire rod using the
Water Jet method
Innovative – developed and used by Tysweld method of cleaning wire rod with water jets under high pressure (900 bar), allows to remove up to 99% of metallurgical residues, including scale, oxides, scales, etc.
Moreover, thanks to the Water Jet innovation, the wire surface remains perfectly smooth and is free from mechanical damage caused by commonly used brush systems.


Thirdly
Pre-drawing
using soaps
without lime!
The perfectly clean and smooth wire surface that was created in the previous process allows us to introduce another innovation.
Eliminating 100% of lime from the drawing process and replacing it with sodium soaps.
Thanks to this, we eliminate process contamination from the wire surface, ensuring a perfectly cleaned and defect-free air structure of the wire, which allows us to very precisely control the copper plating process, optimizing the thickness of its coating to an absolute minimum.
Fourthly
Rolling up without winding using the „No Twist” method
To maintain ideal wire geometry and eliminate internal stresses and twists that occur in the traditional drawing process, we have developed an innovative method „No-Twist”, i.e. winding the wire after pre-drawing without invasive rolling up on the drum.
The generated tensions and twists during rolling up on the drum are replaced by a system in which the wire falls by gravity and stacks freely in special baskets.


Fifthly
Proper drawing and copper plating
This is the process in which the wire achieves its final parameters. Innovations in the preceding stages play a significant role here. The perfectly cleaned and uniform wire surface, along with the absence of process contaminants, scale, or lime residues, ensure a uniform and durable copper coating, which we can reduce to a thickness of 0.10 µm!
The final stage also determines the final wire diameter. The innovation also includes the design of the drawing dies and process procedures with control points, ensuring we can guarantee wire diameter repeatability within a tolerance of up to 0.005 mm!
Sixthly
Precise winding
on spools and barrels
In order to provide our partners with a stable process without unnecessary downtime, we use our own winding technologies.
Thanks to the appropriate protection of the wire ends, the spools guarantee 100% use of the product without the spool expanding during welding, and the barrels, thanks to the „No Twist” winding method, are free from the problem of wire tangling and guarantee even feeding even with long feeders.
